Leadership, Advocacy, and
Professional Commitment

In addition to my work as a psychotherapist, I am deeply involved in leadership and advocacy efforts within social work and mental health.
President: NASW Delaware Chapter

I currently serve as Board President of the Delaware Chapter of the National Association of Social Workers (NASW). NASW is the largest membership organization of professional social workers in the United States, with a mission to enhance the professional growth and development of its members, create and maintain professional standards, and advance sound social policies.

At the state level, NASW-DE advocates for equitable mental health care, ethical clinical practice, and systemic changes that support the wellbeing of individuals and communities. Our chapter offers continuing education, promotes fair reimbursement for clinicians, and provides a professional home for social workers at every stage of their career.

As Chapter President, I work alongside other Board Members and our Executive Director to elevate the voices of social workers, advocate for access to mental health, and ensure the profession continues to serve as a force for both healing and justice.

While my private practice is grounded in individual work, my additional roles and studies reflect a broader commitment to my profession and the field of mental health.

Doctoral Studies: Advancing Clinical Practice and Social Justice

I am also pursuing a Doctorate in Clinical Social Work (DSW) at the University of Pennsylvania. This program is designed for experienced clinicians who are committed to deepening their expertise and contributing to the field through teaching, supervision, and leadership.

The DSW program emphasizes the integration of advanced clinical practice, social justice, and innovation in service delivery. Through my studies, I am expanding my capacity to support other clinicians, advocate for vulnerable populations, and contribute to the profession's growth through scholarship and mentorship.

If you're looking for thoughtful, values-driven care, I’d love to hear from you. Connect with me to see if we’re a good fit to work together.
